Kultari works without accounts and without advertising or tracking cookies. This page explains which data is processed, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/nLPD).
On your device only
Your favourites, language and display settings are stored in your browser (local storage). They never leave your device and you can delete them by clearing the site’s data.
Audience measurement
We count visits with a self-hosted, cookie-free tool (Umami). It does not store IP addresses or identify you; we only see aggregated figures (pages viewed, country, device type).
Reports and newsletter
When you report a problem, we store your message and, only if you enter it, your e-mail address to reply. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your e-mail address and language, with the date of your consent, until you unsubscribe (link in every e-mail).
Event data and AI
Event texts published by organisers are processed by an AI provider (Anthropic) to write short descriptions and translations. No data about visitors is sent to this provider.
Server logs, hosting
The website and its database run in Frankfurt (Germany), a country with an adequate level of protection under Swiss law. Our hosting providers (Vercel, Neon) are US companies acting as processors. Technical logs needed for security are kept for a short period.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time: [to be completed].
