Kultari gathers the cultural events of the canton of Zurich in one place, readable in English, German and French — with a simple promise: show clearly what you can enjoy without speaking German.
Where the events come from
We collect events every night from public sources: ticketing platforms (Eventfrog), venues (Opernhaus, Schauspielhaus, Rote Fabrik, Kaufleuten…), universities (ETH, UZH) and student networks (ESN).
Every listing links back to the organiser. We never sell tickets: prices, availability and the final details are always on the organiser’s site.
How the texts are written
Short descriptions are written and translated automatically by an AI model from the facts published by the source (title, date, venue, price, original text). They can contain mistakes — the organiser’s page is the reference.
The same model assigns the category and the language of the event (“No German needed” = no spoken language required, or held in English or French, or with English surtitles).
What we leave out
Permanent attractions, internal or academic events (exams, staff meetings, specialised seminars) and events outside the canton.
