The Moon Lab at ETH Zurich showcases the LunarLeaper, a four-legged robot being developed to explore lava tubes on the Moon. The project by ETH Zurich Space and the Robotic Systems Lab demonstrates a concept for a robotic mission to find protected locations beneath the lunar surface where a future base could be established. You can see firsthand how the robot is designed to handle the Moon's extreme conditions—unshielded radiation, meteorites, temperature extremes and sharp lunar dust.
