The Swiss Vocal Consort's autumn programme showcases French vocal music ranging from Renaissance chansons to 12-part works of the 20th century. At the centre are Messiaen's enchanting "Cinq rechants", which trace an impossible love story inspired by the Tristan and Isolde myth. The concert takes place at Johanneskirche Zürich and is conducted by Marco Amherd. The music is sung in French.
