Dark Glowing combines music and circus arts into a powerful piece. Silvan Strübel and Laurence Felber perform with vocals, trapeze, electric guitar, bass and drums across four rounds exploring themes of grief, fear and anger alongside courage, trust and solidarity. The performance creates intense contrasts between sweat and glamour, melodic refrains and breathless vocals. In German, the piece employs visual elements, blackouts and haze.
