After her husband's death, Martha, an 80-year-old seamstress, opens a lingerie boutique in her small Emmental village, shocking the local vicar and conservative community. Her three friends catch her newfound zest for life and discover their own new activities. The film shows how these older women challenge social expectations. During this screening, audiences can knit for the campaign "16 Days Against Violence Against Women" and contribute to setting a world record.
