The Burden of the Past

About

Automatically translated from GermanShow original

Sabine Mackintosh reads from her book, describing how the women in her family were affected by poverty, paternal violence and bureaucratic oppression across generations. By analysing records of her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she has uncovered a vicious cycle of structural disadvantage. The reading is moderated by Corinne Kuenzli, director of the film «Nebelkinder».
