Young Werther falls hopelessly in love with Lotte upon meeting her on the way to a ball, only to discover she is already promised to Albert, a civil servant. Unable to let her go, Werther spends every moment he can with her, leading to a tale of impossible passion. This stage adaptation by Pınar Karabulut explores Goethe's classic in German.
