Mozart's The Magic Flute is presented in a rare arrangement for string quartet dating from 1800. The 70-minute programme features the most famous scenes, arias and ensembles from the opera in concentrated chamber music form. A narrator supplements the music with humorous and informative texts that bring the plot, characters and context of the opera to life.
