The Nortada Quintet combines music by Rossini, Debussy, Christopher Ball and Mozart into a varied concert evening. The temperamental overture to the Barber of Seville meets humorous Scenes from a Comedy and the delicate timbres of Debussy's Petite Suite, while arranged excerpts from Mozart's Magic Flute close the programme. The arrangement allows familiar melodies to shine in a new light.
