The concert features two psalm cantatas by Felix Mendelssohn: Psalm 95 'Come, let us worship' and Psalm 42 'As the deer cries out', which Mendelssohn composed during a Swiss journey. Both works are performed with soloists, choir and the Camerata Cantabile orchestra conducted by Felix Ketterer. The emotionally rich musical settings showcase these psalms as masterworks of musical history.
