About

Automatically translated from German

Els Biesemans presents a virtuoso solo recital on a Grand Piano Erard from around 1860. The pianist honours Delphine von Schauroth, a virtuosa and composer whose work was once compared to that of Clara Schumann and Franz Liszt. The programme features works by Schauroth alongside pieces by contemporaries such as Felix Mendelssohn and Frédéric Chopin. The concert begins with an introduction at 18.30 and is followed by refreshments.
