The oratorio "Jephta and His Daughter" by Carl Martin Reinthaler is performed by the youth symphony orchestra Crescendo, the Canturicum project choir and the Wetzikon church choir. This highly romantic work with symphonic orchestral accompaniment tells a dramatic Old Testament story with seven soloists. Powerful choral scenes alternate with lyrical moments, with the harp repeatedly taking centre stage. The concert is in German.
