The Laudate Choir Zurich, conducted by Eugenio Giovine, performs works by Baroque composer Jan Dismas Zelenka. The programme includes the Requiem in C minor, De Profundis and Miserere – three compositions exploring themes of death, transience and hope. Zelenka's music combines Baroque forms with innovative harmonic turns that fascinated his contemporaries and still resonate today. The concert takes place in the Grosse Kirche Altstetten.
