The Kairos Quartet brings together four independent artists in an unusual project: trombonist Nils Wogram, text artist Nellie Hächler, bassist and singer Anna Trauffer, and guitarist Philipp Schaufelberger present a dialogue between jazz and poetry. Hächler delivers pointed thoughts and observations whilst the music weaves around these texts with improvisation. The album »Kairos« explores the poetry of the everyday – from egg-boiling to proverbs to philosophical nuances.
