This WattEd workshop uses a collaborative game to explore how Switzerland can transition away from fossil fuels and meet its electricity needs. Players invest in energy production methods and decide on efficiency measures while balancing technical constraints, financial limits and public demand, with the shared goal of meeting the Paris climate agreements. The concepts and figures are based on real Swiss energy data and latest research. After the game, there is a facilitated discussion to consolidate understanding and address questions.
