Sheer Mag blend punk, power-pop and classic rock'n'roll into distinctive, direct rock music. The Philadelphia quartet fronted by Tina Halladay has been performing for over a decade; their third album Playing Favorites impresses with catchy melodies and strong songwriting. Support comes from Elektra, a Zurich-based quartet mixing punk, ballads and pop, inspired by feminist musical culture. The concert features English, Swiss German dialect and standard German.
