Simone Weinmann presents her new novel about a woman who wakes prematurely during humanity's annual winter sleep and is confined to a hotel with other early risers. To escape her isolation in this quiet world, she immerses herself in a computer game that becomes a metaphorical journey to Mars. The visionary novel explores themes of longing for respite and searching for meaningful existence. Nicolas Batthyany moderates the event.
