Tsering Purtag performs well-known rock and pop ballads by artists such as Elton John, Bryan Adams, Lionel Richie and Elvis, with his acoustic guitar taking the place of singing. He translates the nuances of the human voice onto the instrument to create expressive interpretations of these classics. The performance strips the songs down to their essence while preserving their unmistakable melodies.
