Meghadootam interprets Kalidasa's lyrical poem Meghaduta as an emotional stage experience featuring classical Kathak dance and live music. The story follows a Yaksha, a celestial being in exile, who entrusts a passing cloud with a love message for his distant wife. The performance combines Kathak dancers with live tabla, vocals, harmonium and santoor to create a powerful visual and emotional interpretation of this classical Indian literary work.
